Abstract: | The main objective of this study was to examine the effect of employee empowerment on job satisfaction at
Beherawischool and independent variables such as employee autonomy, participation in decision making,
access to resource and recognition. The research methodology coved explanatory mixed research approch
with simple random sampling. The population of this study was the employee of BeherawiSchool and the
target population was selected or sampled randomly. Data was collected from both secondary and primary
source. For collecting the data that was analyzed through SPSS only questioners and interview method of
data collection were used. Primary data were collected from 138. Multiple linear regression analysis was
performed to know the factors that have significant effect on job satisfaction. The result shows that there is
significant relationship between employee empowerment and job satisfaction. The R square value implies
that the independent variables (employee autonomy, participation in decision making, access to resource
and recognition) are accounts 87.4% of variation in the job satisfaction. Majority of the respondents were
satisfied because empowerment practice makes them to become satisfied on their works. Applying different
empowerment practice have so many opportunities this also affirmed by the respondents. Based on the
finding of the research, the researcher concludes that the practicing empowerment in the school brings
better job satisfaction. Finally, the researcher recommends that addressing continuous and consistent
empowerment practice to employee should be given to the employee to inculcate the essence of better job
satisfaction in their mind as well as to promote positive attitude among them. |
