Abstract: The study has investigated the Project based learning Implementation at Berhan International School in Addis Ababa city. The study aims in assessing the current status of PBL implementation, understanding the perspectives and experiences of teachers and administrators, identifying barriers to effective implementation, and proposing actionable recommendations to bridge the gap between intended and actual PBL practices at BIS. This study has used qualitative exploratory method to examines the nature of Project Based Learning (PBL) implementation at BIS in Addis Ababa City. Data were collected through participant interviews, classroom observations, and documentary sources to identify the critical components of PBL, with a focus on collaboration as a key element. NVivo version 14 software was used to analyzed themes throughout the data. The findings reveal that while there is a commitment to PBL at the school, there are omissions and adaptations in the implementation process. Recommendations include the need for targeted training programs that incorporate elements of andragogy andASSESSMENT ON PROJECT BASED LEARNING IMPLEMENTATION AT BERHAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN ADDIS ABABA CITY ST MARY’S UNIVERSITY (MPM) X PBL, as well as the evaluation of long-term impacts on teacher practice and student outcomes. The study contributes to the understanding of PBL implementation in educational settings and highlights the importance of ongoing professional development to support effective teaching practices. The study has provided insight into the activities that take place in classrooms, highlight the discrepancies between the intentions of curriculum designers and the actual practices of teachers, and inform administrators about the ways in which teachers are putting PBL instruction into practice.
