dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study is to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance in the context of Universal Medical College. The study has been guided by six research hypothesis. In order to achieve the desired outcome descriptive as well as explanatory research designs have been applied and quantitative research approach is adopted. The populations for the study were employees of UMC since this is the organization under the research. The study population comprised of a total of 101 employees from various functions. Descriptive statistics including frequency tables is used to present the results of the study. Correlations and regression among the variables were calculated using Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) version 20.en_US
